Arkema Inc will showcase the Company’s wide range of products and technologies for powder coating formulators at the 2019 Powder Coating Institute (PCI) Technical Conference, held April 1-4, 2019 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Hotel (Table top # 62).
“We have worked with customers for decades to develop new – and adapt existing – technologies that address the many challenges of the industries we serve, including sustainability, value, exposure to extreme conditions and durability,” Mike Iwaniw, business manager for Powder Coating Resins at Arkema, explained. “At the 2019 PCI Technical Conference, we will be talking to customers and others in the industry about several Arkema products and technologies that offer a range of benefits.”

- REAFREE® Polyester Powder Resins, offering a range of choices to meet many different needs in formulated powder coatings.

Arkema is highlighting several products from the company’s line of REAFREE® saturated carboxylated polyesters for superdurable finishes offering excellent outdoor durability, most notably:

- REAFREE® 5703 Resin for improved flow and flexibility.
- REAFREE® 5707 Resin for improved storage stability and formulation latitude.
- REAFREE® 5709 Resin non-blooming resin with excellent corrosion resistance and storage stability.
In February 2019, Arkema began operations at a new first-class polyester resin manufacturing facility and dedicated laboratory in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In addition to the new facility in Navi Mumbai, Arkema produces REAFREE® polyester resins and runs powder coating R&D laboratories at its facilities in Sant Celoni, Spain and North Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
